Privacy policy

SpicyCompare (spicycompare.com) compares the prices of AI companion, chat and image apps. You don't need an account, we don't run ads and we don't sell or rent any data. We never see what you do inside the apps we list. This page explains the little that is collected when you use our site.
No cookies from us
This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels, ad networks or social media widgets.
Hosting and visitor statistics
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It works without cookies and does not follow you across other websites; we only see totals such as visits per page, country and device type. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Fonts
Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which see your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
Clicks to app websites
Links to apps go through our own /go/ address first. There we count the click: the date and time, which app, which of our pages it came from, and a short anonymous code made from a one-way hash of your IP address, browser and the date. We never store your IP address, and the code changes every day, so it can't be used to recognize you later. We use these counts to see which pages are useful and to filter out bots.
Affiliate links and partner cookies
Some links to apps are affiliate links. When you arrive on an app's website through one, that company (or its affiliate network) may set its own cookie so it can tell us if you subscribe and pay us a commission. That happens on their site and falls under their privacy policy, not ours. We don't receive your name, email, chats or payment details from them, only whether a referral led to a subscription. See our affiliate disclosure.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message. We use them only to reply and delete correspondence we no longer need.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you (normally nothing beyond an email you sent us) and ask us to delete it. Contact us at hello@spicycompare.com. Visitors in the EU and UK can also complain to their data protection authority.
Adults only
This site is for adults (18+). It is not aimed at minors and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If what we collect changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
